Statement

I believe that by experiencing and participating with a piece of art, the audience is able to become the co-creator of that piece. With its existence explicitly dependant on the presence of an audience, interactive art only achieves its purpose through the involvement of people.

Throughout my work and research into interactive art, I have focused on the key element of active audience participation in which, through physical interactions, audiences are subconsciously able to create an emotional relationship with the piece of work.

By eliminating the barriers of unfamiliarity and awkwardness and providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience that stimulated nostalgic interactions. With each audience member creating their own unique and personal temporary piece of art, the piece aimed to create a lasting impact within the minds of each person who interacted with it.
